House of Pizza in Hammond

I've lived in hammond most of my adult life and just recently found out about house of pizza... it's a shame I didn't find about them sooner! The food is to die for! The salads are amazing i highly recommend any of them! Food is reasonably priced and delivery was as quick as a hiccup! Thank you house of pizza!

We had a wonderful experience at this spot. We loved the wonderful ambience and the meals. The waiters are super friendly. I’m glad we ultimately managed to visit this place.

All you can eat pasta 10.95 unlimited toppings pizza soup salad. Ask for Alondra she is grate..

Fresh hot pizza and wings.. waiter was one of the best ones in a long time, dont remember her name but she was a black girl from Tennessee

Awesome! Good price. Quick service. A pleasant change from Pizza Hut and Italian Fiesta. If I lived in Indy I'd probably go 3-4 times a week as my son LOVES pizza and can eat it everyday!

Last night HOP got the last dime they’ll ever get from me. I got a pizza that tasted horrible! Now, I know this pizza as I have eaten it for 50 years.The quality of the pizza has been declining for some time now. For a long time the pizza was far from going to the edge, like the last inch and a half had no ingredients on it. Then, there was practically no sauce on the last two or three. There was a long period where I know they used a frozen crust as it was uncooked when the top was scorching hot.The best way to explain it is the pizza tasted old and rancid. The sauce did not taste right, nor did the crust. I did however enjoy the projectile vomiting that followed. Luckily, there are plenty of other choices. BYE!!

5/1/2020- 4:15 pm ordered a pizza w/ sausage and extra cheese. Got home, came to find there was no sauce. Called was put on hold the first time for 4 mins, hung up, called 16 more times finally got through, was put on hold for 3 more minutes, told the young lady what was wrong, and she wanted us to drive all the way back with the pizza. I told her absolutely not, I'll send pictures before I make another trip. She got snotty with me about it, so with that being said posted are the pictures. You've lost 30 yrs of business.

There food is good. Service not so good.

Love the atmosphere and service was top notch. Pizza is delicious with different toppings you can choose. There are other foods on the menu but I only come here for the pizza but great place to hangout with friends and family.

The house of pizza has a very good pizza, but parking is a little tight. But still worth the visit. Besides pizza they have a decent menu. A good place to eat....

They have a sign at the host stand saying if your kids don’t sit still management May ask you to leave, I can’t think of a way to better scare away customers. Had I not been meeting someone there I would’ve turned around and left with my family in tote. Waitress wore mask but the host didn’t. A member of my group asked about IPAs And was told by the waitress they don’t have any. Hard to believe as I saw a guy at the next table drinking one, perhaps she was confused about what we asked . Our table was socially distanced but we saw other groups sitting at tables back to back. Calamari was very mediocre as was pizza.

Worst take out ever! Called twice and was put on hold then hung up on. Then called again and was able to put an order in with a 50 minute time frame. After arriving at this place at around 40 mins after I ordered i continued to wait for a additional hour. The pizza was cold so I had to microwave it. My four piece white meat chicken included dark meat. A wing also had feathers so there is NO quality control. Butter had a staple in it. Potatoes were not cooked completely. I called to try and get a partial refund for the bad food and service. I was informed I would only be able to get $10 to use another time. As I had credit for previous missing items that went missing I did not want to order from them again. Then was told the only way to get a refund was to bring all the food back. I was done now. I salvaged what I could to feed my hungry family and tossed out the rest. 0/10

Wonderful staff great waitress now let's talk about the food salt salt and more salt the soup was like eating a bowl of sea water and the entree had so much salt in it it was unedible I should have complained but didn't the waitress was so nice but that Chef should be fired I'm sorry I usually don't say things like that but who can eat that much salt it was ridiculous not coming back if you have high blood pressure better not eat here

Same great quality for years. Staff was very attentive but not over bearing.

They service from our waiter Jesse was wonderful. I have not had a server like that in a long time. My sister and I took our kids and everyone had a good time. The food was hot and fresh. I will be back soon. When you go ask for Jesse.

fair pizza but a bit over priced.. $30 for xl 2 top .. the biggest issue was the quality control 3 pieces had no toppings to be found .

My first time there and i loved their service the food. Drinks for the adults sea food i give it a 5 on my views.

Loved pretty much everything but here's a couple suggestions....Make your Bloody Mary #"YOUR OWN"and pizza sauce is tasty but a little thin...Great spot though!! Service was awesome!

We can’t accommodate!I live 140 miles from Hammond but I’ve patronized this business for over 15 years. Called to make a lunch reservations days before visiting spoke with someone who assured me that I didn’t need to “reserve” seating for a party of 15. Well that day arrived and I was told by the manager that, “we can’t accommodate you”. I showed proof of the call prior to arrival as well as my ID showing I was from out of town, none of that mattered. This was 1:00pm on a Saturday and there was no one dining in except for employees. I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS AGAIN‼️They’ve made it very clear that black dollars aren’t welcome. Manager was RUDE‼️Very rude.

Pizza was good. Just don't like their appetizer. They taste like the frozen from the box and they just deep fried them. For the price they can at least batter them fresh and fried them. The service was great this time around.

Waited two hours for a delivery. When the food finally arrived it was cold and we were missing an item. When I called them they said they were closed and there is nothing they can do. When I called back the next day they offered me a $20 credit for $45 worth of terrible food. I asked to speak to the owner and the manager/teenager (who had an attitude) said that I can leave my number but I probably won't get a call back. Very unprofessional. Do yourselves a favor and order from a different restaurant that wants your business.

Was great but did see buss staff eating where the food comes out.you go to bathroom by the check in look to the right there's always someone eating or drinking .

I love this hometown Hammond classic! The first thing you need to understand about HOP is that they have the basics down and these have remain unchanged for as long as I've been eating here (+15 years). Their red sauce, pizza crust, and generous application if cheese makes for a glorious think crust pizza! It appeared that they also have a great all you can eat pizza and pasta bar on Thursdays with chef prep's pasta....not just a Sterno fired container of pasta mush like other places. Service is great and the garlic cheese bread decadent! Thank you again HOP!

Their pizza is delicious!! Went for the buffet m-f 11-3, is the best time to go. The stuffed shells was the bomb, chicken pasta salad was fye, and I love your peanut butter cookies from the dessert table. I stay in Chicago but I'll definitely be back really soon.

As a born and raised NYC boy, this is obviously a bit biased but I will be as gentle as possible. I came here for a family event, and it is a nice local spot where you can have a gathering of people and get some decent food at the same time. There is parking available as well, and while the pizza and food isn't spectacular, it does the job well enough, and more so, the place is cozy allowing for a party to enjoy the company of those they are with

The customer service here is terrible! The employees are rude & nasty! & the person claiming to be the manager is just as bad. Before you can even finish placing an order they are cutting you off. When placing an order depending on who’s working they’ll tell you they do not deliver to your area before you even finish giving your address. I have had food delivered to my house several times but I guess they aren’t in the mood today. I wish there service was better because the food isn’t terrible. I will not spend my money here ever again! Get employees that understand the meaning of customer service!!

Have been ordering from House for years, usually on Friday nights. Last week we ordered and it was over 2 hours for delivery and our food was cold. They gave us 20.00 off our order which was ok but they really didn’t care much. Then tonight I called to order and the young girl who answered the phone got my address wrong and then was arguing with me about it. And proceeded to hang up on me and when I called back she told me I was rude and not to call back again.I asked for the manager and got Katheryn who said she was the manager anyway and once again did not care much about how her extremely rude employee treated me. Food is great but to have people like that answering the phone is a huge mistake. Hope they get it together and and start caring about there customers again. And the girl who answered the phone definitely needs more customer service training.

great pizza good flavor just really sad when u ask for delivery to north hammond they say your out of rhe zone but i call another pizza place in Calumet city and they deliver to you

First time trying it and it was amazing! Definitely worth a try!!

First time here and got to say I was impressed. I had a panini. It was a roast beef and Swiss cheese. Very good. The place was very clean and staff is useing saftey precautions, like wearing masks and gloves.

Good ribs, veggie panini, soup and fries. Pizza is okay. Lots of dining room space, but limited parking.

A staple for my family for 30+ years. Love this place!!
